Cole's Professional Horseshoeing

A little about myself.

Picture
My name is Derek Cole. I was trained at Mission Farrier School under the instruction of Mark Plumlee. I really enjoy my job and I try to establish rapore with each of the horses that I work on. I make it my goal to go above and beyond what other farriers offer. I take my time with each horse and try to work with them at their level of training. I trim each foot to the hoof's sole plane and apply a correctly forged horseshoe to the foot. Whenever possible, I use hot shoeing since it allows a closer fit and nicer appearance. I take my time since proper balance of the foot and correct breakover are essential to good horseshoeing. If the horse has any type of bacterial or fungal infection, I treat it while I'm there and give the owner further instructions on how to treat the infection and prevent future occurences. Providing the best hoof care for your horse is my number one priority. I am not perfect but perfection with each foot is my goal. Please try to have your horse exercised and clean prior to my arrival.

Here are some pictures of my work.
